A great place to relax and enjoy food cooked to your taste. I asked for mild and my husband wanted hot. Both perfect for us. Thanks to the chefs and the waiting staff. Service was polite and helpful

Really stand out food here. Very flavourful and cooked perfectly and at reasonable prices too. The main restaurant seating is very comfortable with a pleasant atmosphere. There’s also covered outdoor dining areas plus additional tables for customers who smoke. The owners and staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. The restaurant is in Consum Square with ample free, level parking with disabled parking too. The restaurant entrance is step free and fully accessible.

Kumar’s in La Marina will quickly become your go-to spot for authentic Indian cuisine. Located conveniently on Consum square in San Fulgencio, this family-run restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience. The authenticity of Kumar’s cooking is immediately apparent from the first bite. Every dish is prepared fresh using traditional spices and high-quality ingredients that transport you straight to India. The tandoori specialties are particularly impressive – the chicken tikka arrives perfectly charred with that distinctive smoky flavor, tender and bursting with aromatic spices. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly, they make you feel at home! Do not walk, RUN to Kumar’s! :)

The restaurant was very busy and food did take a while to be served but it says on the menu that everything is made from scratch. The curry I had was full of flavour and was very filling.

We visited Kumars on a Thursday evening around 19:30 in the evening. There restaurant was not full, but definitely not empty and we were offered a choice of tables for the two of us. Service was prompt and within a couple of minutes of entering we had a drink and very shortly after some Poppadoms. The extensive menu was well laid out and offered many curries in a variety of spice levels: this is reflective of how curry is usually served in India. My wife select a Karahi "Mild" and I asked for a Madras "Extra Hot". The curries when served were exactly as we had requested which, for my wife especially who does not like over hot dishes, excellent. Pricing wise the food was good value and we will return here again soon.

We went for an evening meal on Saturday night and it wasn't very busy at all. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed and we were attended straight away by a lovely lady. I was a bit disappointed there wasn't the option of either kingfisher or cobra larger in 0;0, but they at least had some San Miguel they could offer. For starters we ordered 4 poppadoms and they came with sauces, which I have to say we're on the scarce side. That said, we didn't ask for more. For main meal, we ordered a hot prawn vindaloo and a lamb jalfrezi with 2 portions of pilaf rice and Peshawari naan. They tasted nice and we're just the right amount of picante, but could have done with a few more prawns and meat in each dish. They did seem to have a lot of potato, which was a surprise in the vindaloo. The naan was delicious and helped lap up all the sauce. We overheard that they only do ice-cream as dessert and so skipped that. The price was reasonable, flavours were there and the service was very good, in a nicely presented restaurant.

Kumar’s is probably the best Indian restaurant in the area, and beyond. I was really pleased with the taste and texture of all the food. The service was great and they will do their best to make you happy
